Josh Elkes is a songwriter and guitarist from New York with a sound that echoes American roots music, psychedelic rock, and alternative folk. His diverse musical taste and experiences have helped to give his music a unique sound. Josh composes all his own music and lyrics. He has a certain depth not seen in many present day artists.

Most recently, Josh completed his debut record “Takes Time,” wh
ich will be released in 2012. Takes Time was produced by Grammy Award winner Neil Dorfsman (Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits), Clifford Carter (James Taylor, Art Garfunkel), and Josh Elkes. Neil Dorfsman also mixed and engineered the record. Takes Time was mastered by Grammy Award winner Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound.
