Teen Girl Scientist Monthly is a Brooklyn-based sextet with a yen for sunny guitars, anthemic shout-a-longs and fuzzy garage pop. They’ve jangled, stomped and shouted all about New York City, toured to SxSW, and just released Modern Dances - an LP of sharp shout-a-longs and bright light head-bangers.

TGSM’s filled NYC venues including: Arlene’s Grocery, Cake Shop, Shea Stadium, the Studio at Webster Hall, House of Yes, Pianos, Legion, Matchless, Sugarland, the Charleston, the Delancey, Bitter End, Sullivan Hall, Fat Baby, Trash Bar, Littlefield, Brooklyn Fireproof, and numerous house shows and small galleries. TGSM has also toured to Philly, Boston, Baltimore, Memphis, Dallas, Austin, Houston and College Station.
